Meet Your RN Godmotha 💕

Hi Nurse Friend,

I’m Maria, a Registered Nurse, nurse educator at heart, and the creator of Your RN Godmotha.

For four years, I worked as a dialysis nurse. Dialysis wasn’t just my specialty—it was where I built my confidence, developed my skills, and learned how much I loved caring for patients. Then life took an unexpected turn.

After some difficult experiences, I found myself starting over in the hospital setting. Like many nurses stepping into a new role, I felt overwhelmed, uncertain, and afraid of making mistakes. Between orientation, PCU, and eventually Med-Surg, I quickly learned that nursing requires more than clinical knowledge—it requires resilience, organization, and a support system.

That’s where Your RN Godmotha was born.

I created this space for nursing students, new graduates, and experienced nurses who need practical tools, honest encouragement, and a reminder that they’re not alone.

Here you’ll find nurse brain sheets, organization tools, real-life nursing stories, and lessons I’ve learned throughout my career. My goal is simple: to help Nurse Friends feel more confident, more prepared, and a little less overwhelmed.
Whether you’re preparing for clinicals, surviving orientation, managing a busy Med-Surg assignment, or simply trying to find your footing in healthcare, I’m glad you’re here.

Thank you for stopping by.
Love,
💕 Your RN Godmotha
